Emergency & Out of Hours Care
If your pet requires urgent veterinary care, please call us on:
We provide 24 hour emergency care, 7 days a week for pets in need of urgent medical attention outside of the usual opening hours of the practice.
If your pet is in need of emergency care outside of our opening hours:
1. Call the main practice telephone number on 01463 230893
2. You will be put through to our answer machine message which will give you the mobile number of the on call vet.
3. Call this number and you will be put straight through to the on call vet who will take some information about your pet and help you to make an informed choice regarding your care options.
4. If the line is busy, it may be that the vet is assisting another emergency case, please leave a message and the Vet will call you back as soon as he is free, alternatively you can try again in a few minutes.
5. If it is determined it would be best to see your pet we will agree a time to see you at the MacLellan Vets Eastgate Practice on Millburn Road, Inverness IV2 3PY.
Please note:

Out of hours consultations carry an additional fee, which will be discussed during the phone call.

We will not usually agree to a home visit in an emergency situation, as access to medical equipment and medication is likely to be required.
